Jess Holler, DDS
Practicing exceptional dentistry in the Wabash Valley for over 40 years.
Dr. Jess L. Holler has practiced dentistry in the Wabash Valley for more than 40 years. He founded Holler Family Dentistry in 1981. Then, in 2021, Dr. Holler partnered with Dr. Steven Pilipovich and Dr. Theodore Kula to open a new general dental practice Elite Smiles DentalThis link leads to Home page.
He first became interested in a career in dentistry when he was in high school. However, Dr. Holler’s first focus was on the medical field, and he entered Indiana UniversityThis link opens a new tab to the Indiana University School of Dentistry website as a pre-med student. During his second year at school, Dr. Holler met his wife Cindy – whose grandfather was a dentist. Meeting and talking with him sparked an interest that set him on the path to pursue dentistry.
Dr. Holler’s favorite part about working in dentistry is interacting with his patients and supporting them in attaining exceptional oral health. With a lifetime of experience, Dr. Holler has all the knowledge and expertise to handle even the most elaborate cases with utmost care and precision.
In his spare time, Dr. Holler enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors when possible. He also likes working the yard, golfing, and reading on the beach.
Mark Schmitz, DDS
Dr. Mark Schmitz, born and raised in Terre Haute, IN, has returned to the Wabash Valley to practice at Elite Smiles Dental.
A graduate of Terre Haute South High School, Dr. Schmitz found an interest in dentistry at an early age. Experiencing multiple rounds of orthodontic treatment and volunteering at a dental clinic in his youth turned his interest quickly into his passion.
Dr. Schmitz graduated from DePauw UniversityThis link opens a new tab to the Indiana DePauw University website with a bachelor’s Degree in Biology, which led him to pursue his master’s Degree in Biology from Purdue University.
He completed his dental training at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. In between studying, he also found time for love as he was able to meet his wife Claire while in school!
Dr. Schmitz loves the challenge of being a general dentist and is always happy to create specialized plans for his patients.
When he is not at the office, Dr. Schmitz enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies (the funnier, the better!), running, and traveling.
